Family Promise of Longview is here to provide hope and help.
Poverty is a complex problem. Solving it requires solutions that integrate people and community resources. We connect people in need with people who want to help and turn compassion into action.
Through partnerships with caring local church congregations and volunteers, we provide safe shelter, meals, training, and care to help families find gainful employment, become stable in a permanent home, and regain financial independence.
Since we opened in November 2004, we have provided shelter for 193 families. These families represent 667 individuals: 413 children and 254 adults.
